Camp With Pride - August updates

Hi friends!  We hope this update message finds you and your loved ones doing well.  A lot has change over the summer so we wanted to give you all an update on how things are going with our Foundation.

Up first - our rebrand!  As you can see, we’ve officially transitioned to Camp With Pride Scholarship Foundation, and the whole community has been beyond supportive - thank you!  We are thrilled that our rebrand resonated with so many of you, and now our mission is even more apparent through our new name.  Thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to help make this happen, especially our stellar marketing team!

Next, let’s catch you up on our fundraising efforts during the Pride season!  We tabled at numerous events during this year’s Pride season, and it was a joy to see so many familiar faces!  Thank you for stopping by to chat, donate, ask questions, and more.  We love having conversations with you all and we always appreciate your continued support.  Through a combination of independent donations and annual sponsors we raised enough to fund an additional scholarship for the year!  We want to say thank you to each and every one of you, and a second thank you to our annual sponsors:  Rumors Cabaret and Betty Desire. 

Speaking of fundraising, did you know that we’ve provided 12 scholarships to campers in the last 2.5 years?  That’s a heavy lift and we thank you to everyone who helped us make camp a realty for so many kids.  Each year we receive more and more scholarship requests, so if it’s in your heart to help us with our mission please consider helping us in any way you can.  You can donate here:  https://www.campwithpride.org/get-involved-1

Lastly, we have a rare opening within our Board of Directors.
